The client briefed En-gage® to develop a solution that would allow for larger products to be showcased within the store and also allow the customer to browse the full range of items and purchase them through touch screen technology. Enable also wanted the option to generate revenue for playing third party content relating to their products.
It was important that the En-gage® team worked closely with its sister company, Guerilla, to ensure that the new Enable e-commerce website CMS would integrate with the instore touch screen solution.
The client also wanted to generate revenue for playing third party content and, as such, statistics are provided by En-gage® analytics.
The En-gage® solution has been installed in the first four Enable stores and there are further plans to roll out En-gage® across additional stores as the estate grows.
Data analysis has also demonstrated that the customers’ ability to browse the product range instore using the touch screens has increased sales across a wider range of product categories. The larger instore and window situated screens have created a strong revenue stream from Enable suppliers who are seeing sales increases of 41% when their products are promoted for a two week period.
The addition of ceiling mounted speakers has also helped to communicate the features and benefits of the more complex mobility products such as stairlifts.
